Leavittation was at the Academy of Televisions Arts and Sciences sponsored North Hollywood Arts Festival June 24th and 25th. The stunt exhibition included high falls, bmx trick riding, trampoline, circus, and even skydiving. The event was packed as tons of spectators were treated to a firsthand view of the television buisness. There was even an apperance by California govenor Grey Davis. One of the featured stunts put an Academy member in the center of the action by suspending him 60 feet in the air! It was a great event.
Debbie traveled to San Francisco to crash another car for the TV show Nash Bridges.
Leavittation president
Lane Leavitt had the opportunity to work with Jet Li and crew as the American Stunt
co-ordinator on the promotion music video for the film. Lane and Darren Prescott
worked hand and hand with Jet's stunt crew to create some interesting and unique wire
dance moves.
Jet was excellent to work with and is perhaps the most phyically talented actor Lane has
had the pleasure to hook to a rig.

Remake of the 1970's drive in special about a car thief who could steel any car in 60 seconds. The concept is to create an excuse to have a bunch of car chases and wrecks!
Leavittation VP Debbie Evans rides the new MV Agusta superbike. When she was given the bike, the producers asked her to be sure not to scratch it because it is one of only two in the United States.
The main work went well, even though she was leaning the bike at full speed on wet, oily pavement while making quick maneuvers. Debbie had a "close call," however, while doing a full-speed ride through the set for a sound recording of the motorcycle. In the middle of the run, a man talking on a cell phone walked out between two buildings into Debbie's path. She swerved to avoid hitting him, but then got into an uncontrollable "speed wobble" heading strait toward a water truck! She somehow managed to miss the truck, but Debbie said that is the closest she's come to eating it in a long time.
Lane and Monty Simmons put together an interesting and funny wire gag for this national spot. Watch for the student and master in the dojo, the student kicks the master in the head and sends him flying!
For this add spot
called the Night of the Living Paper Monster we put Brett R. Pearsons in the center
of the action. Our hero flies across the room after being hit by the 9ft
tall paper monster and crashes to the floor. He grabs his laptop and beats the paper
monster with his new OnMoney.com software.
The paper monster pictured behind Lane and Brett Pearsons took 5 puppeteers to
operate.

Leavittation pioneers stunt technology again on this Chevy truck commercial. Covered on the national news, this commercial used an advanced computer controlled camera technology which synchronized to Leavittation's ratchet to de-accelerator system for the first ever sequence of its kind. You may have also seen this same camera technology later used in the Matrix or numerous other television commercials.
A Warner Brothers film with the stars of the WCW including Goldberg, Sting, and DDP.
Leavittation vice-president Debbie Evans jumps from a five story building and bulldogs stunt man Jimmy Hart. Debbie Evans had to gain 123 lbs. to do this commercial. She has since dropped the weight and now weights 115 lbs.
Of all the movies we've had the pleasure to work on, this film has the most fabulous sets we have ever worked in. They are so elaborate, walking through them makes you feel like you are really in Bedrock!
We had the opportunity to do some really big ratchets and airramps which fit well in to the cartoon theme of this movie. It's fun to be over the top and bigger than life with the action and still stay within the confines of the script.
This film is a prequall to the Flintstones movie and has a whole new cast.
Leavittation's work can be seen in "Window-washer" and "Dare-devil Stuntman."
Middle: James West inside the engine-room of the steam powered spider where he fights to the death with Dr. Loveless and his henchmen. Right: The super-magnet collars that Dr. Loveless entraps our heroes in.
Brad Pitt kicking Lane's rear on Fight Club.
Another thriller from the director of The Game.

Action Concept of Germany and Leavittation work together to bring American action to European television using Leavittation hardware and techniques.
Using airramps, ratchets, and deaccellerators, Der Clown was the most watched television show in German history!
The BMW jump is real! The Germans have added some of the most seamless digital computer effects ever done to add to some of the background action. Some of Hollywood's top computer animation effects artists were unable to tell what was real and what was digital when they watched the footage!
Action Concept and Leavittation combining forces has set a new standard for television action in Europe. Many more joint projects are now in the works between American and German production companies, opening up a new age of European and American co-operation.
Leavittation project manager Monty Simmons was recently in Germany doing another high action show directing second unit.
Leavittation descenders were used to create a very high action bridge sequence.
We put Kevin Costner in the center of the action by letting him ride one of our deaccellerators for the beginning shot of the bridge sequence!
Leavittation ratchets were used to launch a horse and its rider into a river.
Leavittation high-speed descender was used for a tricky high action stunt in the final climactic sequence of the film.
(Starring Michael Keaton)
Michael Keaton rides the new Leavittation High-Speed Descender down a 40 ft. vertical air-conditioning shaft. In this stunt the same descender also dropped a camera down the shaft giving close-up footage of Mr. Keaton's face, putting the actor in the center of the action. This is the same machine used on The Game, and was considered for an Academy Award.
This low-budget action feature took advantage of some of our latest composite stunt technology. One scene uses the Carram to flip a car on its side while a stunt man burns and is ratcheted ten feet in the air and forty-five feet out while being deaccellerated down to the ground unhurt. This is called compostite stunts.
The same car is being re-cycled with the Carram installed to crash again in another chase scene, saving the company money and doubling their action.
The feature film Phantoms contains some of the most unique ratchet shots that we have ever done, including the use of our new V.T.O.P. system! The new Leavittation developed V.T.O.P. (Variable Take-off Position) ratchet allows the stunt man to start in any position and move vertically or horizontally and to act and do the stunt without a cut !!!
Haloween - Jamie Lee Curtis teams up with Leavittion to finish off Michael Myres -- again.
This is our fifth project with Jamie Lee Curtis. Others include: the 67th Acadamy Awards, True Lies, and Virus.
Our rigging crew made the pilgrimage to Edwards Airforce Base (one of NASA's flight test centers) for the HBO T.V. series From the Earth to the Moon. We helped recreate Neal Armstrong's crash of the "Lunar Lander" trainer. Our production company and NASA found an actual "Lunar Lander" trainer that had been forgotten in the weeds for over 30 years. It was renovated for our show and afterwards was shipped directly to the Smithsonian museum in Washington D.C.
Above Right: Leavittation President Lane Leavitt sitting in the pilot's seat of the Lunar Lander.
